Sphere of academic interests:

Philosophical hermeneutics, by which Pavel Barkovsky means overall and flexible research program. Such means as something that he divides the collection of traditional hermeneutic basic principle, so i that at the same time, he supposes hermeneutics is not only ontologically fundamented (which is the case of Heidegger and Hadamer), but also additional way with other interpretational strategy. Today, when the expansion area of the region of textuality on social life seems to be continuous, hermeneutics turns into general theory of understanding of social reality. A large part of his works are dedicated to exploring the possibilities of coming out the borders that were once shown to hermeneutics. First of such exit seems to be attainable through the interaction with practical (post-) philosophical and methodological structuralist thought. Another important task is to deconstruct that expanse of hermeneutic "thoughts that sets the preferred image of the last and often interfered with her peering over their own prospects.
