Candidate of Jurisprudence (1979), senior researcher (1985), sociology department associate professor (1991). Sociologist, jurist. Specialist at family sociology, methodology and methods of sociological researches.

Ssociologist, lawyer, assistant professor of sociology of the Belarusian State University since 1991(has a PhD), an expert in the field Sociology of Marriage and Family, Methodology and Methods of Sociological Research, Gender Sociology. Excellence in education work of the Ministry of Education (2010). One of the founders and leaders of the public association “Belarusian Young Women Christian Association” (YWCA of Belarus). She is an honorary female leader of the international women's movement YWCA (Honoring Women Leader, 2007, Nairobi). Coordinator of international and national projects on study of the family, the status of women, gender equality. She has more than 150 publications, including 2 monographs and 2 manuals. She has published in England, China, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine. She is a member of the National Council on Gender Policy at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (2000).
